Like Calebredd9 says, it was written by a man. If god gave us the freewill - we have the freewill to do whatever we want. It is completely within our choices.

So long as we don't use our powers for evil, or to hurt other people then I can't see any problem.

I don't believe it's evil, I just would like to know why the bible would say it is.

We could argue about what "evil" even means. It's all about perspective isn't it?

I'm sure we would all agree terrorists blowing up a train station and killing innocent people is evil. Right? That's what Nelson Mandela did, and he is lauded as a freedom fighter.

It depends which side you are on really, your perspective of evil changes... if you live in a democratic nation, is fighting off foreign invaders, who killed your brothers or sons evil? It is if youre the taliban.

Like I say its about perspective.

I have come to discover the meaning of Witchcraft , Witch can mean ones own self/soul, energy or "wise one". craft meaning art or practice. so witchcraft means energy craft or soul craft, the ability to use energy for a specific purpose. Id also like to add that a witches power is what gives the power to props such as voodoo dolls, Talismans, ritual props ect. Even the rituals themselves are quite ineffective without a powerfull soul. so in my opinion a Witch is someone who empowers themselves to watever extent spiritually including psychic awareness. a psychic is someone who has more active or directly controls their upper chakras like the sixth chakra which is known as the seat of intuition.
