Question: do you need to enter into some sort of "initiation ritual" in order to start casting spells successfully, or are the spells available to anybody, as long as it is under meditation and stuff? I am quite curious about this, but I do wonder what is needed to start casting spells (and most importantly, where you got them! 8O).

its quite simple actually. No, you need no "initiation ritual".
Initiation is a process of unveiling the use of magick, rather then the transferring or acquisition of magickal faculties. By giving the technique the initiation sort of took place.

Truly? Huh. I wondered this because I always thought that the success rate depended on some sort of initiation ritual. That's what intrigued me as well: what the success rate depends on.
