There's little I can tell you about wands for now but anyway. Wands are often used in ceremonies to represent power. The wands are used to project energy. Such as we do with just our palm chakras, witches will send the energy to the wand and project it. Like in Harry Potter. But remember that real magick is NOTHING like Harry Potter. The opposite of the wand is the dagger. Which is used to cut through negative energy.

Now I'm not sure if you have to be a witch to use a wand or you can just use it as a psychic. But that's for us to discuss . By the way the wand is a newer version of the staff which was and is still used in witchcraft.

Yes. It doesn't need to be a specific wood. It can be any wood. With any shape(so it's not needed to be perfect).

Shouldn't be too hard to find a stick in the garden or local park. I'm already imagining carving symbols in to it.

Indeed. That is what I would do for sure. I don't know if I place the pentacle or just some random symbols and my name. Some people puts the pentacle and others puts nothing(which is fine too).

I can imagine that it could boost psychic power, kind of like a lever or sorts, amplifying the forces.

it's not really the opposite. it's used at evocations to take control over the enteties you call. by the way, the dagger and the wand should be produced by oneself. actual everything that you use at a ritual. also everything should only be used for rituals.

besides.. every magician would tell you that the most important tool will ever be his own hand.

Usually, I thought magick wands only exist in fiction, such as the Harry Potter book series. But what I here, I guess I was wrong.

I used to use pencils as wands then one day somebody took my pencil and I wanted it back and they said it is just a pencil.
