This is an excellent beginners Shaolin exercise video which I use at least once a week. You, like me, have probably tried many different forms of martial arts such as Karate, Tai Chi, Wing Chun or dabbled with Yoga and Qi Gong in which case this video will be right up your street.

There is something mystical about the Shaolin monks and they are famous around the world for their physical abilities as well as their spiritual qualities. Their teachings hail from China's Shaolin Monastery are known for their fighting prowess, particularly in their own Shaolin style of kung fu.

well... shaolin workout is focus on physical power too much, reduce awareness of chi energys. I know it really increase chi energy but make people feel harder to control it.

Same I would say with yoga. But the point in these are not to force yourself. You have to remain your perfect breathing and just go with it. Believe me, you'll get less strain.
