What if humans are not supposed to be taught by other humans? What if humans are supposed to learn from their environment and not by the words of other humans?

I think that we all are supposed to learn a few things from other humans, such as respect, social grace, and humility, but we also have to learn a lot more from things we don't understand.

Yeah, like we should learn some things from other humans but we should also learn from observing nature. The education system today relies too much on human to human learning and hardly relies on nature to human learning. Maybe when you're young you rely mainly on human to human learning but as you age you transition into nature to human learning. I mean this proves kinda true as you see this in society today. Though as people today get older a lot don't take the time to learn from nature and are stuck with the knowledge other people taught them when they were young. You can learn from nature just by listening closely, can you hear it?

Academically that might be the case. But to learn about personal potential, skills and lessons of life you are your own teacher. A super common example here is telekinesis. People pay schools or follow someone as this supreme all powerful person thinking their skills can never reach the potential of this person. Everyone is equally matched. No one is more 'awakened' then everyone cause then you consider yourself above someone else. And one of the things about awakening is going through the illusion of separation. People can only help and guide you to easily understand what you can already do.

I agree with both sides for one everyone learns differently

Humans learn about humanity from other humans. Other humans are yourself as well. You learn to deals with yourself humanly. You need to learn from what you are, concepts and experience are both human. You can experience nature, but that will still be human-nature. Other humans can help you guide you into comprehending humans. You inside of yourself have to deals with what you think, what you feel, what you sense, what you visualize, and become aware of the world as you are aware of it, because that's all there is.

Haven't visited the forum for a while. Revisiting this now, I completely agree with Har. Almost everything we ever learn in our life comes from the influence of others. They way we think, the way we act, the way we live, all caused through external influences such as culture, role models and standards set by society(or a particular social group). To comprehend it basically: we have less personal freedom than we think we do. It's the basis of human psychology

we awaken from the soul, discovery of our soul is important. this can only be found through deep meditation and reflection of self, combined with the examples set forth by the human species as a whole. humans are the most empathetic race in the universe and use ego to protect the soul. control the ego and search for the deepest desires of your soul. light and love <3
