Maybe in the future it'll be done the way it was done in Chronicle, applying telekinesis to the perimeter of your body. Would require quite a bit of energy to do. And even more to maintain for extended periods of time.

It's possible to fly hover float excetra without tremendous amounts of energy the nerve fibers that extends from the body and or the energy already being emitted from the body that is not being used that already occurs from energy burn off from us generating and sustaining so much energy if these bodily functions are mentally controlled or when these things are mentally controlled they are able to interact with the subatomic particles in the air like ions which will cause left thrust excetra just a little technique I been working on
