Personal integrity... Empty
PostSubject: Personal integrity...   Personal integrity... EmptyTue Aug 19, 2014 12:58 pm

Everyone I have met on the forum is totally awesome. I have recently read a couple of things that that inspired this thread about integrity and respect. This forum is a place for us to learn as well share our knowledge with others. I appreciate everyone on this forum and thank everyone for all of the questions that you have asked and everything that you have shared.

This having been said, there has been occasion when someone questioned another's integrity or whether they were telling the truth or not. You are my brothers and sisters here and I have a strong brotherly love for you all. There is nothing to be gained here from telling something that is not true. As practitioners of psi, we will encounter more than enough doubt and questioning of our integrity from others outside in the "normal world". Let us counter that by acknowledging and accepting what is shared on this site as pure truth. If someone says they did something or something occurred for or to them, we owe it to them to believe them without question. What they share may seem so very far outside of "normal" for us but then the ability to move and even levitate material objects with only our mind is as far from "conventional" normal as you can get.

If you share that something occurred to you that is so far outside of my reality, I promise that I'm going to respect you, grow and expand my reality and I'm going to be the better psion for it.  I love you

I'm grateful for this forum and for the people here too. But integrity, as far as I'm concerned, is not to blindly believe your wolf pack, but to respect your doubts when you have some, and to see later if you are correct: the bonus is that if the person ends up phoney, you will improve the knowledge of your intuition or critical but fair intellectual capacity, and if the person ends up legit, you will have to learn once more that some people are not always too awesome. But I agree that throwing your doubts at someone's face is not very tactful. I will admit that I had doubts about Mark and Zamzam, the first because of a vid of something that really looked like a magic trick, and the latter because he is too awesome - and because being 13 on the Internet improves your chances of lying (I saw more kids and teenagers do that on the web than  older people). It was a prejudice on my side. Now I believe them, but I don't mind saying I didn't, and if someone has doubts about things I say, I don't mind it at all.

We have the right to be skeptical about each other and still feel that fraternity because basically you still think everyone is legit, even if a few make you doubt. No one has to take anything for granted, and most of us don't know each other for real. We're on the same boat and even if some of us have doubts, we are still sharing and supporting each other, mostly.

A blindly happy group of people is a sect at best and can only last so long before imploding. A group of mature people facing their doubts and shadows within themselves and the group is a healthy brothersisterhood. It's not betrayal, it's sincerity. I don't owe anyone blind faith here, but as fellow sailors aboard the Magic Ship, I certainly owe them honesty.
I do the same with my friends: I don't tell them what they want to hear or support them against all odds, I tell them what I feel is right and reserve the right to say they're doing shit when it's the case.

If you doubt that someone told the truth, take time and listen to your heart-chakra. It knows no prejudices and you will know when truth has been spoken. (or not)

And yes this forum is awesome !  flower

@J:
Thank you J, I can appreciate your point of view.

@Bereth: Very true statement, well said!! Granted, some have not yet learned how to open their heart chakra but this is the perfect place with the perfect support team to learn!

To All:
For anyone who may have "told a white lie" for fame on this forum, eventually we will meet one another and any fame falsely gained would be shadowed by the distrust that would follow.

As for the "hopeful" majority who post their occurrences and progress in openness and honesty, might I suggest (or request as the case may be) those who have doubt or disbelief of the person's experience to temper said doubt at least in their responding post. As J said succinctly, not throwing one's doubt in another's face. It would be wrong for me or anyone to ask or demand another to believe in something if they clearly do not hold said information to be fact. It would also be wrong to ask or demand they not speak their truth of doubt. As this is a forum of support and sharing of said progress and personal events, perhaps we might be able to voice said doubt while also acknowledging the possibility of the person's experience being factual.

We are all individuals sharing a common desire to grow and learn. We are not here to form or establish a sect, faction or cult as it were. It is indeed healthy to be skeptical while it is also healthy to support others in their belief of the incredible. Somethings or talents in their infancy can not yet be replicated. Just because we do not truly believe something happened or exist does mean it is not so.

Be skeptical, but share the faith and support Smile

Thank you again J. Smile
