For some reason I just wanted to post about the 9 Norse realms.

In the first level was Asgard, the home of the Aesir.
Vanaheim, the home of the Vanir.
Alfheim, the home of the Light Elves.
In the middle was Midgard “Middle Earth”, the home of the Humans. Midgard was connected to Asgard by Bifrost “The Rainbow Bridge”
Jotunheim, the home of the Giants.
Svartalfheim, the home of the Dark Elves.
Nidavellir, the home of the Dwarfs.
Niflheim was to the north, inside somewhere under the ground were Helheim home of the dead was.
Muspelheim was to the south, it was the home of the fire Giants and Demons.

Yggdrasil,or The world tree. My favorite mythological aspect. Jesus said he will end all of the wicked people, and Odin (or Thor too long since high-school mythology) promised to get rid of ice giants. I don't see any Ice giants...

So where is Valhalla? Isn't that the Norse 'heaven' for those killed in battle?

valhalla is the hall of thor it is in asgard, its similar to heaven but you go out and fight and when you die you end up back at the valhalla to feast
vikings believed you could only go straight to valhalla if you died an honerable death in battle

NF is correct. It's where everyone who died in a battle either from midgard or asgard, that's where they would go. And it's in Asgard.
