What do you think about this?
While ago NOAA said that sound is consistent with the noises generated by icequakes in large icebergs, or large icebergs scraping the ocean floor.
Before that there was research and discussion that it could have been some kind of animal, even bigger than blue whale. Bloop was captured by deep sea microphones in 1997, after that sound disappeared and never heard again.

This was what I had heard also: that it could have been generated by some kind of giant sea monster.
The blue whale is of course the largest creature in the world, so whatever makes the bloop assuming its a living creature of course would have to be enormous.
