The Roswell UFO incident took place in the U.S. in June or July 1947, when an airborne object crashed on a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico. The official story is that it was a "weather balloon" but many people believe that this was the crash site of an Alien aircraft. A space ship which was recovered along with its extraterrestrial occupants and then the whole thing was covered up by the government.
Witnesses at the time reported seeing government officials and the military collecting parts of the alien debris and removing a pair of alien corpses from the site. These alien corpses were later studied and dissected at the Area 51 air base.
