In Islam they have their own equivalent to Excalibur known as Zulfiqar. Its a magical scimitar like sword with two blades Muhammed gave to Ali, his bravest warrior. It is said that the sword came down from Heaven as a gift from Allah via the Angel Gabriel. An interesting story goes that one time Ali went to stab the sword down into the ground (as you do) and just before it reached the ground an Angel appeared and grabbed the sword saying "careful, you almost destroyed the earth"
