I know my greatest fear when I was a kid was darkness and the shadows, but now I seem to be awkwardly obsessed with it. Anyways my current greatest fear is what I saw in a meditation I used called the dark side meditation. I saw myself making a creepy evil smile and that was messed up. What is your fear?

the only thing i am scared of is an angry god. i fear no thing on this earth because the effects will only be temporary. i fear an angry god because i could get put through an eternity of torment if i make him angry

Indeed. But do you think there are things that can make you suffer more then God? God is a teacher, and a protector. But there are worst wraths and things in the universe.

of course when i was young it was spiders and the dark not so much anymore. i mean yea. there is the 9 hells there is the beast, god takes you to heaven which is eternal peace. and the plagues he can put on you may be eternal but aside from that im not even sure if there could be a worst wrath then the wrath of him maybe in this reality somewhere on a distant planet with a highly advanced civilization there torture could be constantly reviving you after you die while chained up and a beast eating your entrails out and when you get revived you regenerate .. never put much thought into a worse wrath then god

I can cure phobias. If anyone has a good one we could give that a go.

I used to be afraid of cats, and drowning and most bizarrely tomato ketchup.

I'm afraid of the dark still. Nothing can really change that. I'm also afraid of loud noises, because I'm afraid that I'll suffer permanent hearing loss. Hopefully, in the next few years, I will master healing. That way I can go deaf, and heal myself back up. I'd love to be able to heal. I'm not ready yet though. Yes, damnation is a fear. I have a fear that occasionally almost gives me an anxiety attack. It's the thought of living for ever. I've always had this fear, mainly when I'm in the shower. I think of the never ending infinite life I'll have to live as a spirit. It is a great fear. I also have a fear of a planned out life, and a vision of me, as an old man, thinking back my life. Just how unfulfilled it would be.

Something that others might find fearful, but I don't is blood, I find it quite therapeutic to be honest. It feels good to bleed. Although the smell is horrible. I think I have found a trick around pain. You just have to imagine the pain being what it truly is, electricity. After that, you don't feel the pain as pain, you feel it as a feeling.

I have a different pain control technique.

my worst fear is the lack of power to do something.i sometimes even have nightmares in which i try to hit someone in the face but there is an energy that doesnt let my fist keep moving, i hate it and i cant explain it well in english

I had that dream experience once too.

I am afraid of big dogs, barking loudly running around me xD

I also have a fear of constriction. Not so much claustrophobia, but for example not being able to move my arms.

I have a little claustrophobia. But mostly I fear evil beings. That is something I need to get rid of.

hmmmm.........i really do not fear much. but i think my biggest fear that actually affects me is my claustrophobia. scared to death of small spaces. makes me faint.

oh so that is claustrophobia meaning. my fear is when doing meditation, i cant keep my eyes to close for long time, because i scared if something appeared in front of me when im meditating, something like ghost or anything creepy. thats why i cant meditate for 30 min lol.

You should meditate with music. You'll find out soon that meditation is necessary and that ghost are not to be afraid of.

My biggest fear would be loss of function, inability to contribute to humanity, and injustice: any form of torture to anyone including me, my loved ones and my enemies - better to grant death.

Fear is an illusion. I had many some simple fears like being in small spaces and like you, losing loved ones or seeing evil beings. None of that matter after I saw my great grandmother losing her breath in front of my eyes and seeing my girlfriend cached by the police to get deported. That month(July) was when I felt like I've lost everything. Including the love of my family because they realized me being weird and stayed away from me more often. By that time I was afraid to live and to die. I wrote a really long suicidal letter. But then this came. I even ignore my fears now. I love shadows, less afraid of losing something or someone(because now I know what it feels and knows like to see someone die in front of my eyes). The one fear I still hold dear is fear of heights. But I'm working on resisting heights.

That's an interesting view point. I'm sorry to hear about your past and I'm glad that you seemingly recovered from it.

I suppose definition of fear is pretty vague coz when I said "My biggest fear would be...", I almost meant "The biggest things I hate to see or the biggest things that would make me really angry". I'm so drawn to the dark side, as in StarWars concept. lol I see that you are too drawn to the dark side if you "love shadows". You know what they say in StarWars, fear and anger = Darth Vader.
