I don't quite understand how it was "spam" or "misleading."

In the eyes of most people in the mainstream, telekinesis is officially debunked.

Some of the mentalities I've encountered:
"Remember that guy who offered 1e6 USD for anyone to prove telekinesis. Nobody won."
"If anyone is misled, it cannot be me because I'm smart - I have to be, because I studied well at school. Besides, if telekinesis were real, wouldn't it have made news headlines by now?"

It does not fit in their world view. That's why they would label it "misleading".

Sadly, telekinesis is still not mainstream yet.

I think that a true experimental scientist's mentality would help: "According to books, the 2nd law of thermodynamics holds. Imma try that to see if it really works that way."
Instead of bowing to the great gods Newton, Einstein, Schrödinger and studying all of their incantations by heart we ought to question physics as we know it and perform the relevant experiments by ourselves. Nowadays it's so simple to repeat the Cavendish, Michelson-Morley, Sagnac, or other experiments. The fundamentals that any kid in the kindergarten could do. TL;DR: Restore the true spirit of science!

They rightful y removed his channel because about 60% of his videos were fake or a fraud - plain and simple. If anyone deserved to be removed it was Mark Mauvais. Ever seen him "move dice"? - it was magnets. Ever seen him levitate a flower? - the tape was played backwards after he dropped it... Ever see him 'light' a light bulb? - It was a fake magicians light bulb you can buy at the store etc etc. Most of his videos were 100% faked... He was enjoying his 'guru' status a little too much I guess so he made a shitload of fake videos.

Has anyone seen Mark Mauvais anywhere? I seen that his YouTube account has been closed which is weird, also has a bot taken over his twitter account, Its definitly not him, I think hes been taken by the government, something dodgy has happened anyway.

It has nothing to be fake or real,it's some ppl doesn't like his channel and report to youtube,that's the real reason of terminated.
Nobody can say it's fake or real,mark mauvis youtube channel  is giving you the choice that everything is possible

@jack, some people don't like his channel because most of the videos were fake!
And I know what real telekinesis is. TK is real and I do telekinesis . His videos were mostly faked.

Ok, so YouTube is somehow able to detect which videos display real telekinesis and which don't?
Or is it more about how many people believe that the videos are fake (report against) vs. how many believe that the videos are legit (new subscribes or something alike)?

I'm pretty sure that it's close to impossible to prove that a telekinesis video is not fake. However, it's rather easy to debunk a telekinesis video even if it is not fake. This already causes any judgement to be biased. Moreover, mainstream conditioning should be taken into account here. The probability of a random person tagging a telekinesis video "fake" is a lot higher than them tagging it as "real".

If YouTube can randomly take down any videos or channels based on its own better judgement, then should we not opt for less sketchy service providers? By less sketchy I mean a service where there wouldn't be some random mods clicking delete on channels and videos that they happen to dislike.

if you search this forum there's a guy with a nick "spirit talks". he has a youtube channel once but someone complain his channel also was taken down,I think that's the basic reason youtube is "doing" their job.spirit talks has a new channel but he doesn't practices tk anymore,he only uploads videos on parkour stuff

I haven't uploaded anything for years and luckily I barely have any views.
My videos are still up but who knows for how long.

Which reminds me to make sure to download my own videos before the YouTube gods deprecate them.

Considering the news (or olds), China seems to be more progressive in the censorship fashion than the wild west.
Though, it seems that the west is at least trying to catch up with them.

I would prefer some kind of a distributed system that is developed and maintained by the community (people from their free time, with no income from the system). This might still be seen as something illegal (alike Pirate Bay, etc.) by media corporations. However, with no single legal entity or person behind it, and with no income it should be more difficult for them to get a proper footing in court. Nevertheless, the system should allow for corporations to send messages to the content owners on the system but never take down the content of anyone else. Perhaps the content could even be hashed with timestamp, with the hashes stored in a blockchain for proof of history. Blockchains have the tendency to become slow and bulky though, so it must be really lightweight.

Just an idea. Other ideas are welcome as well.

My friend told me that as he often used adf.ly links in the description. YouTube's ToS does not allow using monetized URL shorteners as they are considered spam links.

I am guessing that is why his channel got terminated?

Also, what happened to Mark? He has been inactive on all platforms. Also, this forum no longer has any active moderators.
