I am sorry to tell you this but I am a Muslim who the creator has given a blessing from the shy to all that what to hear. You are right the world is going to change and any real psychic will tell you this. Even Jesus said it himself that when the day come people will be more evolved that meant psychic . but Allah blessed me with a vision on 2000 I hear the trumpet sound and I was a gangster at the time and did not care about nothing but the gang. I have been fighting with my destiny since I was a child. I don't want the responsible and the power. I just want to be normal. The world is evil and the human kind is the most evil Creation . I have my story of what people did to me in my country , but these is not about that. This is to prove that psychic are good people also. I am looking for a way to help. More then million of human beings can say . everybody knows that the hear my thought and see through my eyes. It is written in the Bible and in the Qur'an when the whole world will know that Islam is the truth or as I Like to say the path to Allah. But it is not of the end of the world just civilization as you know it. The truth is light and in order to be a part of the light you have to live it.Islam mean submitting you will to Allah will the creator.the creator lives in everything that exist and doesn't exist he is the prior energy. It can not be destroyed or created he will be at the end and at the new beginning

But we already have been given these abilities since we were born. And still we use some of them unconsciously, so I don't see why these abilities are evil. In my opinion magic is different thing, but of course all magic is not 100% evil also, mankind has used it a lot since the beginning of time for different reasons.
