Unless you leave the education system, graduating or not, it won't be better. My biggest lie was that when I graduate and go to HAVO(Dutch school system is different) I will be happier. To be honest we never truly achieve happiness from anything. Easiest way to realize it: "Oh yay, thanks for the new video game!! This is so epic!" Sooner or later the game will become normal to you and even boring. It's the same with any materialistic situation such as love for pleasure(not true love), saying that life will get to the climax of only positivity ect. Happiness can only be found when you allow yourself to be happy. Accept things as they are no matter the situation. It may sound impossible, but it isn't. As much as school doesn't feel fun, I go there for 1 soul purpose, learning. I rarely socialize. And when I do, it's with people whom are on the same pace as I am. You don't need to be that social weirdo all the time though. Cause although it may seem like a good thing(yeah you watched Chronicle lol), it actually pushes people away. And when you need one, they may struggle to help. Separation is the world's biggest illusion. You don't always need to cope with socialization, you can have your style. Just don't over do it and be like some cold-blooded psycho or something. Sorry I talked about a completely different thing in this topic.

School would be a good place if it would teach spirituality and meditation. Unfortunately the illuminati won't like it.

Some of the spiritually most interesting periods in my life have occurred while I have been in school. School is a challenge. Can you take 3 + 12 + 3 + 2 + 4 = 24 years of brainwash head-on, never lose patience, always deliver homework on time and use it all for spiritual practice at the same time? With the appropriate attitude, lessons, lectures, practicals and homework become meditative. It took me about 3 + 12 years to realize that. Despite all my efforts to fit in and think similar to my friends (as in school sucks, history lessons suck even more and so on..), I changed dramatically just before the national exams. I was so nervous that I couldn't do nothing but solve exercises all day long and meditate in the meantime .. for about a month. School and those exams were an important cornerstone in this life. For the same reason, one of my favorite activities is chopping firewood. It becomes meditative pretty quick. And if it doesn't, then it'll be quite a workout and the mind will become quiet because it's exhausted. Use everything as a leverage for spiritual development (including school, stressful work, sleep).

Hmmm.. school being meditative? Sounds like a really cool idea. Ill have to try it. Still, it's not right that we don't have the option of whether or not we go to school, that in itself isn't against the American constitution, but used to be, because we're miners, we don't have the choice, someone chooses that for us. Although you can learn a lot of useful things, that is just a cover up for the true purpose. School is an indoctrination camp. The Nazis did the same thing, and everyone in America is too blind/asleep to see it. To be honest, I'm a little embarrassed to be an american. They eat too much, sit on their buts and don't do anything, except Maybe their jobs, but just because their focused on survival, and anyone who gets in their way gets stepped on. It truly sickens me, the way that my peers, no everyone, treat each other, and they call me that nice quiet kid in the corner of the classroom. Well sometimes I have a lot to say. School is to get you used to complying to authority, and most Americans blindly follow with what "THEY" say, and I think we know who when I mean "THEY". I know you guys have seen this stuff. It's right in our faces (maybe not so much if your not an American) and what do people do. Oh, you know, it's for their own good. I have especially noticed this for the past week or so, teacher's looking at me funny, getting a 100 for writing about stuff similar to this, and a flat out 0 in the class that doesn't agree with me. The funny thing is: they can't stop me. I've been spreading the truth like a wild fire, because soon I'm moving to Michigan (great, Michigan is even more mentally enslaved!) I currently have awakened 4 people somewhat. They all are now practicing their abilities, and tell me about it at school. It makes me happy to see them progress. Do you want to know the even more hilarious thing? All they can do is ASK me to stop talking, and to sit down. I realize that there is NOTHING in the law that says I have to listen to them (unless you signed a contract,) and they did have a contract, I did not sign it. They asked me to in the beginning of the year, but they made the mistake of leaving me. I just stood up, and left. Now at least I know that if I get into a emergency situation, I just pull that card. They honestly have nothing on me, and the only thing that can do about it is write a number on a sheet of paper. Even our discipline system is based of of numbers! Numbers aren't going to mean anything to me when I finally get out of that indoctrination camp, because as soon as that happens, I create my own business, and become an entrepreneur. There isn't a room where a camera isn't present, except the bathrooms, and we have strict ridiculous rules about stay on the right side of the hallway in a strait line, no talking, no creativity( not really a rule, just making a point here) and if your out of line *Gasps sarcastically* YOU GET YOUR NAME ON A SHEET OF PAPER WITH A NUMBER NEXT TO IT!!!! Oh no, what ever can I do to prevent you from writing names and numbers!!!!!!! It's only my opinion, but I think miners should have their full rights. And yeah, school can be meditative. (Sorry if I offended someone, or if a ranted a little.)

I honestly feel like a slave in the school I go to. I want to be an artist & a filmmaker, but to do that, I need to learn it. But instead I'm stuck with the DNA & geometry shit because I have to pass the grade. Every time I go to the class, it makes me feel that work is a 100% more important than anything else. Such as spending time with your family, socializing with friends, TRYING to make the world a better place, etc. When there was bullying taking place, they put a stop to it, but it's not erased for good. I witnessed it today. In the cafeteria, there was a physical fight going on, & it takes 5-6 custodians to take him down. I feel like I'm in prison full of criminals that are ready to explode. Full of boys that listen to rap that sing about sex with "bitches," drugs being "sooooo good," & being rich 24/7, & sag their pants down that reveals their boxers, & wears hoodies in the hallways when teachers clearly tell them not to. Full of girls who listen to pop & rap music that are about partying with drugs & alcohol, sucking ***ks, having a boyfriend eventually, or something stupid. Wearing very short pants that goes from the waist to the upper thighs, with skimpy shirts that reveals their cleavage & shoulders, wearing a shit ton of makeup & nail polish. & saying "like" a bazillion times in their sentences (comparing things & using similes do not count), & including "Oh, my God." Btw, I honestly thought that physical abuse/bullying is overrated or something, but I guess not. I wish to escape the place, but I really need to graduate to get to, well, anywhere. I wish I'm 18 or 21 so I can live my dream. I'm missing out the Hollywood dream on becoming an artist, writer, & filmmaker.

Plus, they should teach meditation in school. A way to relieve stress, which is an absolute must for teenagers, such as myself.

Sometimes life just shows us that we don't get to do what we want just like that. Sucks. As far as school goes, it's a pain. But just go with the flow(no matter the stupidity or ignorance surrounding you). All you need to keep in you mind are your goals. Wether it's I want to get out of here, I want to be a lawyer, psychologist ... or even that you're interested in a specific subject, keep in mind your goals. Only thing that will get you through most hell hole. Not others, not friends or anyone. Others can support you, nothing more. And even if we want to think about life, some school subjects would great benefit our ideas and philosophies. A great example being physics. There's so much you can juice out of it to think deeply about life. On the last note, I do agree that social skills are also important. That has to come from your own experience.

This is hard to avoid learned helplessness nowadays with this utilitarian system, you are obliged to do things that you don't like. I would say that the whole society is a prison and that it starts with school. Maybe we should try to free ourselves by winning to the lottery with premonition? Sometimes I hope that my parents put me into something like Sumerhill school or that I grew up in Auroville or another kind of similar alternative educational thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxstZFC8Vms
