Hello everyone!

So I've discovered this forum a while ago, but only now I decided to actually write my first post.

There's been something happening to me for a few years now. It started when I was 7-10(not sure). In short - I guess I'm hearing voices.

I can recall it happen around 10 times since my childhood. It's like suddenly I kinda stop noticing what's happening around me and in my head time goes slower and faster at the same time. I feel like my thoughts get out of control and they echo inside my mind. And then I always hear this voice. It seems to be the same everytime. I think it's a female voice that I hear, but I can't recognize any words and it seems to be screaming at me. It's something that I can't control, but I've noticed that many times it happens when I'm focused on something(playing a game, writing a test etc.) and maybe i'm letting my guard down.

So the question is.. am I psychic... or just insane?

How long do these episodes last?

Usually from about 30s to a minute.

Your description reminds me of the sensation of standing up too quickly. Would that be a fair comparison to how it feels? Minus the woman screaming ofc

No. I don't really think that's it. The only similar thing is losing connection with what's around me, but it happens in a different way. It's kinda hard for me to put it into words. I see everything I'm doing but I can't focus on it. Instead, I'm focused on what's going on in my head. And what I "hear" seems to be the same everytime. Like a repeated "message". Sometimes it's like screaming or talking really fast.
