About 3-4 months ago I was searching spells and I found out that there is also gray magic. First time I ever heard about gray magic. I found this text from one website:

Gray magic is White Magic turned Black. Let's say you do a spell to obtain money, but then a week later your mother dies and leaves you some money. What started out to be white magic was actually gray magic which then turned to black magic. You see gray magic is magic that can turn white or black. That is why you should always do a divination with the Tarot cards or what ever method you prefer to find out the outcome of your workings before you do them! This way you will be sure to harm none in your spell castings. Even if you meant no harm, yet someone was harmed, you will have to except the Karmic responsibility! Once again... What goes around comes around! Choose your poison well.

It's like the ability to manipulate things with the 'mind'. There are so many names like aerokinesis, hydro-, magn-, pyro-.. you name it. At the end it's basically the same thing done in a different way. Magick is no different. I used to think of it like that as well(green, white, red, black). Especially since I'm most interested in black magick. But when you look at it, it's all the same. Dealing with the natural forces of nature and the cosmos. And it can all go good or bad. Even the little good luck or wish spell that came true can backfire if the universe feel like it. We can only attract the manifestation of certain energy. But not control it.

To me, The left handed path has been about causing pain, and displeasure
the right handed path has been about joy for yourself and others
but what you call gray magic, I call the middle path.
The truly impartial and cold uncompromising search for truth.
The true power of magic lies somewhere between pain and pleasure.

And it's already there. Later you realize that you don't need to search for truth. Cause it's already there. You just need to look at the right places.
