Why is the back of my neck so sensitive? My first time I tried to Astral Project the back of my neck felt as if it was mildly sun burnt afterwards. Also I tried some other times, and the back of my neck feels very "tingly." Almost as if i'm being touched. Also, just today I heard what sounded like an exhale in my room. It wasn't my dog, she was down stairs. It sounded like an exhale my dog would make, but it was close though and, in my room. It most likely wasn't a ghost, it was probably just a bus or something. So, why is the back of my neck so sensitive?

No, nothing can happen to you on the astral plane. The silver cord doesn't break that easily(it can almost never break). If you get lost in the astral plane your physical body will be in a little coma but you have to get hungry sometime, so that hunger will make your consciousness go straight back to your body or someone will probably wake you up. But you can't die there.

Yeah, I don't think you can die, but there is no actual way to prove it.

Of course there is. There's an impressive way of proving this! Bring a partner home with you and tell him to go to something while you're going to sleep. And tell him to come see you after a few minutes when you're awake. When you go asleep astral projection and see what he's doing. When you return to your body tell him and try to remember more then you can. She/He'll be shocked! I saw it on a video and also did it to see what my brother was doing and I was right.

I meant there's no way to prove if you die from astral projection. I suppose you could prove it though by communicating with spirits or telling someone you're going to Astral Project, and if you die from unknown causes its proven. There is no recorded death from Astral Projection that I know of though. Also I should do your suggestion when I can astral project. The person will be shocked!

The back of my neck is tingly again. I astral projected fairly recently, maybe 1-3 days ago. i really can't remember. The back of my neck and head is tingling. If the top of my scalp tingles it feels like my hair stands straight up. Which is how I feel during Astral projection. I will also occasionally get tingles somewhere else in my body too. So are these sorta "after shocks" from the AP? Does this happen to you?

No. When I astral project I usually wake up twice more dizzy then when I normally wake up. I feel like my head's going to explode and at the same time like it was the best sleep ever. The term you're about sounds very much like the silver cord. Have you traveled long distances during your OBE?

Well, I actually haven't traveled anywhere yet...

I think I might know what causes the "tingles". It may be the hair on my head rubbing against my head. Because if I touch my neck/head with my hand I can feel it tingle afterwards. That may be the cause, but it doesn't explain the reason it is tingling. I have been "feeling" things a bit differently than ever before...
