San Francisco, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/17/2013 -- Pam Ragland, who says she has a psychic ability, was able to lead cops to the body of murdered Terry Dewayne Smith, an 11-year-old boy who went missing.

The cops couldn’t refute her claim, either. She had a vision that he was laying under a tree, as if he was sleeping. She says in her vision, the city was far away and there was a dirt road leading to the boy.

Ragland joined searches, including a firefighter and located the body just as she had seen it in her vision. She said in her vision, he children were the ones that found the child. “Look mommy, it’s an animal”. But it wasn’t an animal Pam saw in her dream, it was the body of Terry Smith.

Police confirmed to KCAL 9’s Tom Wait that Ragland did find the body and said that initially she was questioned in case she was in on the murder, but eventually released her.

Back at home, Smith’s family is asking for a little time to grieve before they comment on Ragland finding the body of their son and brother. According to his mom, Denise, they have 11 years of grieving to do.

The coroner has not yet officially confirmed that the remains found the property are of Terry Smith, but an autopsy and official report is expected next week.

This is a great ability to have as well, and one that I really wish to have! A question if I may: is it a part of clairvoyance or does this ability have another name?

The ability to see objects, or in this case a body, in a distant place or time is clairvoyance. One could consider remote viewing a form of clairvoyant ability too.

This is a gift that I wish I had. We had a high profile murder case here about 15 yrs ago, and I tried everything, even trying to THINK like a serial killer, to try to visualize where the bodies would have been put or who might have done it. There were three girls, two of them sisters, and a third local girl, all with similarities pertaining to what happened before their murders and the only common link to where they were found is that they were placed in water. The closest I came was looking under bridges into streams, thinking that it would be a 'serial killers' choice. I would have given anything to have helped in that case b/c I have four daughters and I wouldn't even allow them off our own deck for months!!!
