Want to learn how to develop your psychic power? - Telepathy - Telekinesis - Clairvoyance - Precognition - Extra Sensory Perception Hopefully we can all work together to better our understanding of these psychic phenomenon.
Necromancy is the ability to manipulate things that involves death of a living being. This is indeed a REALLY dangerous ability. And you have to be mentally strong. D D Home has demonstrated this ability. I want to hear what you think or experienced in this matter. This ability includes: talking to the death, mentally killing a living being, rising a dead being(this ability would take ages to do) ect.

My best friend's grandmother was a medium. She would talk to dead spirits to gain insight that would help others. I'm sad that I never met her before she died, my friend said that I would have liked her.

Necromancy is something that shouldn't be played with. I feel like it was a forbidden art and kept a vast secret for a reason. seriously,I would leave that mess alone

Same people said with divination and mediumship. It should be practiced ONLY when you're experienced or you can be damn sure something bad will happen!
The Christian bible says that necromancy is when the devil posses dead bodies. So my question is, when necromancy is achieved who's energy is inside of the body?

Jesus did Nacromancy on Lazarus.
Quote :
38 Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 39 “Take away the stone,” he said.
“But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.”
40 Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
41 So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.”
43 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” 44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.
Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”

some parts of the christian bible dont even need to be there like in paul where it talks about slavery, rape and other things my preacher completley dismisses paul and says that it was an add on or something in the KJV bible it has been misinterpreted over so many ages of rewritting personally i do not wish to practice necromancy

The four gospels were not written until a hundred years after Jesus died, and the rest was picked and chose by the Romans.
And I think it could be interesting. I wouldn't fancy looking after a reanimated dead person though!

I believe that Jesus may have existed. However, this does not prove of a "god" existing. There is a bit of proof suggesting that Jesus did exist. First of all, so many recorded eyewitness events. Secondly, physical evidence, like the shroud of Turin. Thirdly, the things Jesus did are not impossible to achieve. As we know, he healed, manipulated water, and achieved necromancy. These are all things that we know exist. So, he probably did exist, but you can never be too sure.

Necromancy... to raise the dead? Sounds like my workplace on a Monday early shift.
I'll stick to my Medium abilities. At least if the spirits get to bothersome, I can switch off.

Respect the dead. Respect there right to stay dead. This plane of existence we're trapped on is no better. Focus instead on re-invigorating the living. Help the people of this plane transition into the next. I beg of all of you, never try to raise something.

Hmmm mediumship is a form of necromancy, so I would say some of us have done it for sure. Rising the dead is a powerful necromancy ability which most religions bring up. Jesus raising Lazarus from the death for example.

Lazarus was the first Zombie. At first Jesus refused to resurrect him because he was already decomposing.

I enjoyed Criss Angel BeLIEve S01E03:
He attempted to transfer a girl's soul into a dead body. He didn't quite manage to revive the body, but the process was pretty interesting nevertheless.
Perhaps if one has self-healing skills that enable them to heal fatal injuries just with willpower, they could possess a dead body and bring it back to life?
There was one guy on the PsionicsOnline forum a few years ago, who had been studying his physical sensations and had learned the illusory nature of pain. He posted about an experiment where he took an ATV with full speed (60 km/h, if I remember correctly) against a fence. He flew off the ATV, over the fence and slammed into a tree. After a few minutes of healing, he stood up and analyzed the damage to the ATV and helmet. (I don't have a reference here, sorry)
In "Project Superman", Andy Pero describes how he was thrown out of an airplane at night. He crashed into the ground, breaking his spine in several places. He managed to heal himself before being buried .. crawled out of the body bag and spooked the people who had organized the experiment. http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/sociopolitica/superman/project_superman_part_6.htm

That is always a risk when someone does ritual like this. If the person was good in life but when he/she comes back to life it can still be very destructive. And there is no guarantee that the person you bring back to life really is the right person you meant to bring back.

The Bible of The Undead (Donald C. Barrie, 1971 / 1972), Chapter IX - CALLING THE DEAD and A WORD OF WARNING
I recommend the book .. it's very very good. Not really about necromancy .. more about immortality and paranormal in general.
There the author described his experience with summoning the dead .. as well as the trouble that he had caused with this. He put up his strongest shield, which did not hold. He was lucky to have a guardian stopping him and sending back the dead.
Author and his adept:
Quote :
"You've made a lot of souls unhappy tonight," she told me coldly. "You've upset the balance because you've caused them to generate violence and hatred. You are responsible for weakening and possibly regressing the development of their spirits. ..." ... I have never been able to know whether or not I have been forgiven. I had to put myself at their mercy and they hadn't struck back. ...

So, in theory, it should be possible to draw a bunch of souls to possess a body... with some serious repercussions.
Ah, actually. Has any of you created a tulpa?
I think assigning a tulpa into a dead body might be somewhat safer.

I make one from time to time.
As for assigning into some carcass, nope, it is not safe because the tulpa changes to something else.
