| That would be "enquêtes/études/recherches sur", and then I'm stuck with "psychic".
I'm French, and have never found a satisfying translation for "psychic": the english word is loose/vague, so it can be anything related to the mind or spirit in a paranormal manner, but in french you would have either words with wider meaning (le supernaturel, les phénomènes paranormaux, etc.) or more specific terms (médiumnité, clairvoyance, pouvoirs surnaturels, perceptions extrasensorielles (ESP), etc.). You can also find anglicisms such as "pouvoirs psi" and stuff like that.
If I was to christen a french franchise of this forum, I'd prolly go for "Expérimentations paranormales" or "Recherches sur le surnaturel". |
