i get this tingling sensation in my hands like i am absorbing energy and then i release it and it knocked the pencil down i don't know what this energy was that I've felt. Can someone clarify it to me.

That is psi/chi/prana(whatever you want to call it) energy. It's also known as life force. That energy is what either makes us happy or the state that we're in. That energy is what causes things to move. Also, our body aura is the proof of it and our chakras/mantras are the basic source of it in our body.
