I love Stephen King books & movies, from Carrie (special thanks 2 T 4 telling me about that one) 2 The Shining, & esp Doctor Sleep. Anyone else like SK/wanna talk about it?

Stephen King has to be the best horror novel writer in my oppinion. If you like carrie and if you haven't already, you should also check out firestarter and the dead zone sometime these are some of my favorites.

The only SK novels I read r Carrie, Firestarter, & the Shining-- only b/c it involves in supernatural. The Dead Zone's on my Christmas list this year. PS: Who would win in a rap battle?: Stephen King, or Edgar Allan Poe? Tricky, isn't it?

Almost all of his books r about supernatural. U'd like Dr. Sleep - The Shining's sequel. U know how Danny & Carrie had 1 psychic ability? Well, Abra Stone has 'em all.

I read some of my big brothers Stephen King books maybe 14-15 years ago but my parent's hid them when they found out that I'm reading them. Mostly I've seen Kings movies than read his books.

Nice! I've been wanting to see that one since I saw the trailer. Was it good? |

Um...not the best. I mean, it doesn't really appeal 2 me since I don't like serial killer movies. The only reason I watched it was bc it was SK.

I can't stop the comparison of The Shining book & it's film adaptation that SK didn't like. For example, there's a wasp nest in the book. There are hedge animals that move. Jack didn't freeze to death, but I'm not gonna spoil. The mini-series has a lot of relation to the book, though. Nostalgic Critic reviewed the mini-series, easily gets mad @ it, & goes Nicholson's Jack Torrance on his friends. Pretty hilarious, actually. Instead of REDRUM, there's DEROB, which means "bored."
