I'd recommend you practicing with a foil psi-wheel. For most people they're much lighter and easier. Also Mark's fingerpicking technique make it really easy. Explore my friend. Find different techniques.

Like what SW said it takes a lot of practice and patience but don't give up. With plenty of practice and meditation you'll be able to perform these various psychic abilities. This video was very helpful when I was first starting.
